Foundation Specialists, Inc. (FS) is known as a DESIGN & BUILD CONTRACTOR for both Vertical and Horizontal Construction. FS became a household name while building the 17 Km LRT-1 from Monumento to Baclaran. extending to Airport Road for the "Depot", and including the main Bridge over Pasig River and the 2 smaller bridges over the Tripa De Galina canal  along the Connecting Line. FS has completed the civil works of the LRT-1  in the early 1980s, encompassing everything from foundations to copings, including the seismic re-design of LRT-1 foundations on Bored Piles. It is a well-known fact that "No structure is safe and durable unless it is built on good foundations," and FS has proven over the past 47 years that is  building  Durable & Safe Structures. Our approach includes a meticulous study of ground conditions and the use of adequate foundations, ensuring that Foundation Specialists' works, as evidenced by our track record,. be SAFE, DURABLE & EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT, which has been made possible by the continuous R & D pursued by FS In the field of Deep Foundations and Soil Consolidation. In fact, the development , extensive testing and application of FS Methods and Technologies has allowed FS to build STABLE & SAFE FOUNDATIONS, even in the most challenging soil and site conditions.

The Company

Foundation Specialists, Inc ("FS " for short) is a Multinational Construction Concern with Italian participation and management.

Foundation Specialists, (FS) was formed in the 1970s as Foundation Specialists International Ltd.  in HK, with a Philippine Branch. The Philippine Branch of Foundation Specialists International Ltd. operated together with MC Hydro-consultants a Partnership with solid background and successful accomplishments in the Engineering and Management of Large International Infrastructure Projects, Eventually the two groups decided to merge and incorporate in the Philippines as Foundation Specialists, Inc. 

The two Concerns which merged to form Foundation Specialists, Inc., had, over the years developed and managed the planning and construction of large Underground Hydropower Schemes, including Pump-Storage Hydropower Plants with Reversible Pump-Turbines; Support of Large Deep Excavations, Bridges, Viaducts Port facilities and Elevated Railways, IN DIFFICULT GEOLOGICAL & GEOMORPHOLOGICAL CONDITIONS. Thus, with that vast experience background, FS has managed, through theoretical and field R & D, to fine-tune field applications of Geotechnical and Foundation Engineering, Soil and Rock Mechanics and Construction Methods and Technologies applicable to general conditions, eventually specializing in "äd Hoc  design" of  the EXECUTION METHOD of complex projects to be built in challenging soil conditions.  

Because of the way it was formed, Foundation Specialists, Inc. started “ab initio” from the beginning, as a leader in its consolidated fields of expertise , i.e. large infrastructure projects requiring expertise in deep foundations and in the geotechnical field of works; and Large Deep Foundations Projects.
